When I was in high school my friends and I bought tickets to the motocross race downtown. They brought in mountains of dirt and turned the major league baseball arena into an amazing track for these racers.
We had a great time at the race and even had a camera dedicated to taking pictures with anyone who had a mullet hairstyle… you know “business in the front, party in the back”, and there are a lot of these at motocross events, ha ha.
After the race was over we went to the parking garage and it was just gridlock. It took about an hour to get from our floor of the garage down to the exit.
Right before the exit something odd happened. As the lane was merging my friend had the bright idea to get out and move one of the cones that made us merge (BTW I didn’t ask him to do this). As he moved the cone it ended up right in front of the truck to my left blocking his path.
Needless to say the guys in the truck got a little heated and the guy riding shotgun got out looking like he just stepped on a hornets nest. It became obvious pretty quickly that this man had a little too much to drink while he was watching the race. Stumbling over to my window I saw that he was coiling up to spit right in my direction.
I quickly rolled up my window and just in time too because right when the window finished rolling up SPLAT a whole mouth full of spit right at eye level and I was just grateful it didn’t end up on my face.
The rest of the story is irrelevant…but don’t worry we resolved it peacefully without any fighting or any more saliva. Ha ha.
If you have had money in the market this year you also may have the feeling that you have dodged a bullet.
With the onset of the coronavirus pandemic the market took a steep downturn, but as you look now, the stock market is back up to all new highs.
For how long, nobody knows but it has been a wild ride. There have been some that have lost a fortune and others that have made it.
I am starting a new video series on how you can utilize some Wealth Building Strategies to insulate yourself from these wild markets while still growing your money year after year.
Here is video 1, I hope you enjoy it.
Don’t take this market rebound lightly, use it to get your financial position more secure, create more cash flow, and get ready for the next storm.
Leave me a comment or question and I will work those responses into my next video and email.
I hope you have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day Weekend!
