Sometimes We Need A Bigger Reason

I heard a story years ago about a giant beam placed between two different skyscrapers in New York City.
There was a challenge that anyone that successfully crossed this beam with no safety net, parachute or equipment would get $20.00.
How many do you think attempted this feat?
Right…
Not even one.
Then the story teller went on to ask the crowd how many of you would cross that beam for free if you saw the other building on fire and your 3 year old son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter etc. was on top of that building?
All the hands went up despite the possibility that they may not make it, but they knew they had to try.
There is something coded very deep inside of us that motivates us to help save others, maybe even more than we were willing to do just for our own benefit.
This is what I love about humanity.
Right now the world seems to be in a tailspin. Well at least that is what the media is always telling us.
And yes, there are some really big problems.
I recently got an email forwarded from a charity that helps underdeveloped communities.
In this particular area just to get water they have to descend down underground almost 3-5 football fields deep and then climb out with water on their back. This is a 6+ hour ordeal everyday.
Can you imagine?
In our western civilization we get frustrated if our pictures take too long to load on our phones, let alone taking 6 hours of our day just to survive.
Here’s my point. There is a lot of good that can be done with our wealth.
There are so many people to help and problems to solve.
We want our clients to be wealthy and feel wealthy so they can reach out beyond themselves and help take some weight off of someone else’s back.
If your wealth is in the whirlwind of the markets right now you are probably only able to focus on your own situation. However, we can help you fix that so you can be in a great spot and then be able to look outward and gain all the blessings of serving others.
