The Fed just came out with an announcement this week. I put an article referencing what they talked about in the footnote below. (1)
One of the things that I get frustrated with is feeling like I am trying to be manipulated.
I bet you don’t like it either.
The Federal Reserve is literally manipulating the markets so they can try to hit an inflation target they have created.
This is exactly why I recommend to my clients diversifying the funds they have in the market with funds they have growing on a contractual basis.
There’s a great parable I believe most of you have heard….
About the wise man vs the foolish man.
And where they built their houses..
Great story.
It goes down like this.
Wise man chooses to build his house on a rock.
Foolish man builds his house on the sand.
The winds, rains, and torments come.
Wise man keeps his house.
Foolish man loses his house and it gets washed away on the sand.
I have found this parable to be applicable in so many parts of my life.
Especially when it comes to protecting and growing my pennies.
For example…
Let’s say I want to get wild and swing for the fences with a portion of my assets.
Which you should only do with pennies you can afford to lose.
It’s a lot easier to take those swings if I know the foundation of my nest egg has been built on solid ground.
It sure makes life, investing, and this whole penny growing thing less stressful.
Think about being able to still take some risk, play around with some investment, and even look for high returns…
And possibly sleep like a baby each night because you tapped into a scientifically optimized retirement… .
First thing’s first.
You have to build on a solid foundation.
Because when the rains come…
And winds blow…
Your financial house will stay standing.
Think the rains won’t come?
We both know they will come at some point.
Too much free and easy dinero
Inflation will probably ramp up.
Interest rates could rise.
Taxes could double or triple.
All easier to combat with the right foundation.
And even better when it is based upon hard facts, math, and science.
If that adds up on your calculator, then we should talk for 15 minutes.
