This past week my family and I have been creating some new memories. We have traveled up to Utah and have had a blast, hiking, biking, visiting friends, swimming etc.
One of my favorite hikes that we have done so far was to a waterfall near Sundance ski resort.
I like hiking because it gets you out in nature and is usually a bit challenging. It gives you time to think, you usually have a focus or goal of where you want to go, and typically you reach new heights and get to see the world from a brand new perspective.
So many times you can feel like you are doing the same thing over and over doing the essential but often mundane task.
The question is where are you headed?
For some of us this is good because our habits and mundane tasks will eventually get us to the top of the mountain, we just need to stay the course.
For others these habits and routines are slowly killing our health, our net worth and relationships.
If you have never used the “Living Your Best Year Ever” planner created by Darren Hardy, I highly recommend it.
In it he has a “wheel of life” evaluation quiz and has some tools to help you reach your next “waterfall.”
As you review where you are at with reaching your financial goals, you will feel “okay” or completely frustrated.
I would argue that those that are feeling “okay” are the individuals that will probably have limited success in the financial world.
It’s those that are curious of new possibilities or really desiring a transformation who will pull ahead and reach their new heights.
If you are looking for a fresh perspective outside of the wall street dogma or are ready to reach new heights just reply back to this email with the word “transformation” and we will see how we can help.
Until then I hope you have some new adventures for yourself this week.
